Packages

What it costs,
and what you get.

Three plans, each pairing a website with a photography package sized to match it. You are not really buying two services — you are buying one contract, one timeline, and one person who already knows the business by the time the photos get shot.

  • One contractWebsite and photography, one invoice
  • Up to $1,475Saved against buying separately
  • 50% to bookBalance due before the site goes live

The packages

Roots, Branch and Canopy.

Prices are per project, not per hour. The figure beside each line is what that piece costs on its own, so every plan comes out below the sum of its parts.

Roots

$2,450

The minimum package — enough for a small business to look professional.

  • Website — up to 2 pages, custom built$2,300
    • Mobile and tablet formatted
    • Basic SEO
    • Basic plugins
    • Domain and hosting setup
  • Quarter-day photography session (2 hours)$300

    • 50+ retouched finals
  • 3 months Priority care included$975

A care plan is required on every plan — it covers your hosting, and the included months are already in the prices above. Every plan takes 50% to book and hold your dates, with the remaining balance due before the site goes live. Anything on this page can also be bought on its own if a plan isn't the right shape for you. Prices shown are before NC sales tax.

Ongoing website care

A care plan is required on every plan — it covers your hosting. The first months are included, then Essential and Standard continue month‑to‑month and Priority is billed three months at a time. Standard suits most businesses: the site looked after, not just kept online.

  • Essential $95/mo

The minimum required. Ongoing hosting through Black Oak Consulting. Up to 2 hours of changes monthly. Larger edits billed at $50/hr.

  • Recommended Standard $175/mo

Everything in Essential, plus monthly off-site backups. Edit time upped to 4 hours monthly, minor text changes done free of charge. Monthly performance report and 48 hour response to changes.

  • Priority $325/mo

Everything in Standard, plus 8 hours of monthly edits usable across web, photo retouching and client meetings. Includes quarterly strategy call and same business day response time on edits. Includes one half day photoshoot within your first 3 months. Priority is billed 3 months at a time.

Design & visualization

Renderings are quoted per project.

A single-room concept and a full multi-angle exterior package are wildly different amounts of work. Bundling them into a plan would mean overcharging most clients to cover the few, so they are priced per project instead — after a short scoping call, and available with any plan or on their own.

Design and visualization services, starting prices and what drives them
Service From What drives the price
3D renderings & visualization $1,000+ Number of views, level of detail, and how much has to be modeled from scratch. A single interior concept sits near the bottom of the range; a multi-angle exterior sits well above it.
Material & mood boards $350+ Finish, fixture and color selections on one board your client can approve. Sold alone, or with a rendering package so the render matches the real materials.
3D walkthrough animation $1,800+ Length and complexity. Built on an existing model where one already exists, which lowers the cost considerably.

Renderings are illustrations, not construction documents, and cannot be submitted for a permit.

Questions

Frequent Questions

Do I need your 3D service?

Our 3D service is meant for homeowners who want a new planter bed, walkway, pergola, or even pool. We take those designs after you approve them and help you find a GC that's right for you. With business owners, maybe you want to re-design that old showroom or seating area to go along with your new brand. Black Oak Consulting does not do the actual work, instead we make sure that what's in your head gets translated to the design vision so you avoid change orders or mess-ups with whoever builds the new area/addition.

How much does a website cost?

On its own, the website in Roots is $2,300, in Branch $4,800 and in Canopy $7,250. Bundled with the matching photography and the included months of care, the plans are $2,450, $4,950 and $8,350+ — each one less than the same pieces bought separately.

Do I have to buy a package?

No. Everything on this site can be bought on its own. The plans exist because they cost less than the same work priced individually, not because the pieces are only sold together. A care plan is the one exception — it covers your hosting, so it is required on every plan.

What areas do you cover?

Photography is in person, so it covers Denver, Lincolnton, Huntersville, Cornelius, Mooresville, Davidson, Charlotte and the rest of the Lake Norman area. Website work can be done for clients anywhere.

Can you get my project permitted?

No, and it is worth being clear about why. Renderings are illustrations, not construction documents, and cannot be submitted for a permit. Applying for a permit is the responsibility of the property owner or the licensed contractor doing the work, and a submission may require drawings sealed by a licensed professional.

How does payment work?

Every plan works the same way: 50% to book and hold your dates, and the remaining balance before the site goes live on your domain. That is the whole schedule — there is nothing split into monthly payments on any tier. Figures are before NC sales tax, and a quote holds for 30 days.

Is hosting included?

Hosting is part of the care plan, which is why a care plan is required on every plan. The first months are included — two with Roots, three with Branch and Canopy — then Essential and Standard continue month to month, and Priority is billed three months at a time. Essential is $95/month and covers hosting, SSL and software updates, plus up to two hours of changes; Standard at $175 adds monthly off-site backups, four hours of edit time and a monthly performance report.

What do renderings do for me?

Each project differs from business to business. Some clients might want to see what it would look like to revamp their old showroom or seating area with new materials and features. Renderings are meant to help a client understand their space and what different materials look like in it.
