What we have done to make this site usable for everyone, and where it still falls short.

Template notice. This is a concept website built as a portfolio piece. The measures listed below are genuinely implemented on this site, but the conformance claim has not been independently audited. Before publishing a statement like this for a real business, test with assistive technology and have the claim verified.
Our aim
This site targets WCAG 2.2 Level AA. We treat accessibility as part of building the thing properly, not as a bolt-on.
What has been done
- Keyboard operation. Everything interactive can be reached and used with a keyboard alone. The before/after comparison is built on a native range input, so it works with arrow keys as well as a pointer — it is not drag-only.
- Visible focus. A high-contrast focus ring is shown on every focusable element, and it is never removed.
- Color contrast. Body and interface text meets the 4.5:1 minimum. Two brand colors were deliberately darkened from the logo values specifically to clear that threshold.
- Images. Meaningful images carry descriptive alt text; decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
- Headings and landmarks. Each page has one h1 and a heading order with no skipped levels, plus a skip-to-content link.
- Forms. Every field has a visible, associated label. Errors move focus to the first field needing attention.
- Motion. Animations respect
prefers-reduced-motion. With it enabled, the hero and cinematic videos hold a still frame instead of playing. - Zoom and reflow. Text scales and the layout reflows to 320px without horizontal scrolling. Pinch-zoom is not disabled.
- Works without JavaScript. All content is present and readable if scripts fail; animation is an enhancement only.
- Touch targets. Interactive controls meet the minimum target size on touch screens.
Known limitations
- The site has not been formally audited or tested end-to-end with screen readers such as NVDA, JAWS or VoiceOver.
- The before/after comparison conveys its point visually. The alt text on both images describes what changed, but the comparison itself is a visual device.
- Photographs and video are large files, which may be slow on a limited connection.
- Videos have no audio track, so no captions are provided. If audio is added later, captions must be added with it.
