Template notice. This is a concept website built as a portfolio piece. The description below is accurate for this site as built. If you add analytics or advertising tags, this page must be updated to list them individually before you publish.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website asks your browser to store. Related technologies such as local storage do a similar job. They are used to remember things between visits — a preference, a session, or which pages you looked at.
What this site actually uses
Being specific, because vague cookie notices are the norm and they are not much use to anyone:
- Strictly necessary — in use
- One local storage entry,
lnhvac.consent.v1, which records the cookie choice you made so you are not asked on every page. It holds your preferences and the date you set them. It stays on your device until you clear your browser data, and is never transmitted anywhere. - Analytics — not currently used
- No analytics cookies are set. The switch exists so that if analytics are added later, they only run for visitors who opted in.
- Marketing — not currently used
- No advertising or tracking cookies are set, and no third-party ad pixels are present.
Third parties
Typefaces load from Google Fonts. This does not set a cookie, but your browser must contact Google's servers to fetch the font files, and Google receives your IP address as part of that request. Embedded video and images on this site are served from the site itself, not from a third party.
Changing your choice
Use the button below, or the Cookie Settings link in the footer of any page, at any time.
Browser controls
You can also block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. Doing so is fine here — the only thing you lose is that the site will ask about cookies again on your next visit. Blocking site data entirely will not break any other part of this site.
Changes
If what this site stores changes, this page and the date at the top will be updated.
